Our Summer concert last Sunday was a great success!! St John’s church in Bridgetown was full to the brim with our wonderful audience who gave huge cheers and whoops of delight as we walked in, before we even started singing (!), and were dancing at the end in our encore song ‘Dancing Queen’
Many thanks to our soloist Jon Waterworth and our violin and viola player Sarah Godley for giving wonderful performances and enhancing our singing.
“Absolutely fantastic”, “Best ever” “You should be so proud” were amongst the comments received afterwards. We were particularly pleased as it was Kathy Snow’s last concert as Musical Director after 11 years in the role.
We were delighted that the Civic Mayor of Torbay joined us for the evening, and happy to say that all profits made from the evening will be donated to our Charity of the Year, the Torbay Young Adult Carers.
