Our Summer Term is coming to an end and at our last rehearsal we sang some of Kathy’s favourites from our Summer repertoire, and we started learning some Christmas music (Christmas in July!) – all new pieces ranging from John Rutter to African melodies, to Polar Express songs! Our new term is beginning on Monday 4th September so do come and join us. We are open to all comers and particularly would like more male voices!
Of course our term isn’t quite ended as we have our end of term party next week. We are a very friendly sociable choir and arrange various get-togethers during the year, including film nights and local walks. We will be taking part in the Marldon village Apple Pie Fair on Saturday 2nd September, and are running our own event, the Last Night of The Proms on Saturday 9th September.
